Dana Adam Shapiro is an American film director, producer, and writer. He is best known for his documentary film “Murderball” which was nominated for an Academy Award in 2006. Shapiro has also directed and produced several other documentaries and television shows. He is the co-founder of the production company, Impact Partners, which focuses on producing socially relevant documentaries.
