    Bio:

    Colin Higgins was an American screenwriter, director, and producer. He was born on July 28, 1941, in Nouméa, New Caledonia, and passed away on August 5, 1988, in Beverly Hills, California. Higgins is best known for his work on the films “Harold and Maude,” “Foul Play,” and “Nine to Five.” He also wrote and directed the film “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.” Higgins was openly gay and was an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights.
