Claude Miller was a French film director, screenwriter, and producer. He was born on February 20, 1942, in Paris, France, and passed away on April 4, 2012, in Paris. Miller began his career as an assistant director to François Truffaut and went on to direct his own films, including “The Best Way to Walk,” “Garde à vue,” and “The Little Thief.” He won numerous awards throughout his career, including the César Award for Best Director for “The Little Thief” in 1989. Miller was known for his sensitive portrayals of complex characters and his ability to capture the nuances of human relationships on screen.
