Chris Sanders is an American animator and film director known for his work on animated films such as Lilo & Stitch, How to Train Your Dragon, and The Croods. He began his career as a character designer and storyboard artist for Disney, working on films such as Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King. Sanders later co-wrote and directed Lilo & Stitch, which became a critical and commercial success. He went on to direct and co-write How to Train Your Dragon, which was also a box office hit and received critical acclaim. Sanders is currently working on the sequel to The Croods, which he co-wrote and directed.
