He is considered one of the most influential directors in the history of cinema, known for his innovative and unconventional approach to filmmaking. Dreyer’s films often dealt with themes of religion, death, and the human condition. Some of his most famous works include “The Passion of Joan of Arc” (1928), “Vampyr” (1932), and “Ordet” (1955). Dreyer passed away on March 20, 1968, in Copenhagen, Denmark.
