Well, let’s just say Busby Berkeley’s ROI is so low, it’s like trying to find a needle in a haystack…if the haystack was made up of 1,999 other directors with better ROI. Sorry, Busby, looks like you’re firmly on the F-List with a 0% ranking.

    Bio:

Busby Berkeley was an American movie director and choreographer known for his elaborate and innovative musical numbers in Hollywood films during the 1930s. He was born on November 29, 1895, in Los Angeles, California, and began his career as a dance director on Broadway before transitioning to film. Berkeley’s signature style involved intricate geometric patterns and overhead shots of dancers, which became known as the “Berkeleyesque” style. Some of his most famous films include “42nd Street,” “Gold Diggers of 1933,” and “Footlight Parade.” Berkeley passed away on March 14, 1976, in Palm Springs, California.
