    Bio:

    Anthony Harvey was a British film director, born on June 3, 1930, in London, England. He began his career in the film industry as an editor, working on films such as “The Bridge on the River Kwai” and “Dr. Strangelove.” He later transitioned to directing, and his most notable films include “The Lion in Winter” (1968), for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Director, and “They Might Be Giants” (1971). Harvey passed away on November 23, 2017, at the age of 87.
