    Abdellatif Kechiche is a French-Tunisian film director, screenwriter, and actor. He was born on December 7, 1960, in Tunis, Tunisia. Kechiche began his career as an actor in the 1980s before transitioning to directing in the 1990s. He is best known for his films “La Faute à Voltaire” (2000), “The Secret of the Grain” (2007), and “Blue Is the Warmest Colour” (2013), which won the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival. Kechiche is known for his realistic and intimate portrayals of characters and his use of long takes.
