    Molly Haskell is an American film critic and author. She is best known for her 1974 book From Reverence to Rape: The Treatment of Women in the Movies, which is considered a pioneering work in feminist film criticism. She has written for publications such as The Village Voice, The New York Times, The New Yorker, and Vogue. She has also served as a professor at Columbia University and New York University.
