James Christopher is a British film critic and journalist. He is the former film editor of The Times and has written for publications such as The Guardian, The Independent, and Sight & Sound. He is the author of several books, including The Art of the Movie and The Art of the Film. He is a regular contributor to BBC Radio 4’s Front Row and has appeared on BBC2’s Newsnight Review. He is also a member of the London Film Critics’ Circle.
