Wilfrid Hyde-White was an English character actor best known for his role as Colonel Pickering in the 1964 film adaptation of My Fair Lady. He was born in Bourton-on-the-Water, Gloucestershire, England in 1903 and began his career in the theatre before transitioning to film and television. He appeared in over 100 films and television shows throughout his career, including The Third Man, The Great Race, and The Pink Panther Strikes Again. He was also a prolific voice actor, lending his voice to many animated films and television shows. He passed away in 1991 at the age of 87.
