Well, Telly Savalas may not be in the top 1%, but at least he’s not in the bottom 99% either. Telly Savalas was an American actor, film producer, and singer, best known for his role as Detective Lieutenant Theo Kojak in the TV series Kojak (1973–1978). He also starred in films such as The Dirty Dozen (1967), Kelly’s Heroes (1970), and Escape to Athena (1979). He was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Birdman of Alcatraz (1962). Savalas was also known for his bald head and his catchphrase, “Who loves ya, baby?” He died in 1994 at the age of 72.
