Well, let’s just say Stephane Audran’s ROI is so low, it’s practically underground. We’re talking less than 1% here. And with a status of F-List, I don’t think we’ll be seeing her in any blockbuster hits anytime soon.
Stephane Audran was a French actress who was best known for her roles in the films of director Claude Chabrol. She was born in Versailles in 1932 and began her career in the 1950s, appearing in a number of French films. She won the Best Actress award at the Cannes Film Festival in 1966 for her performance in Chabrol’s Les Biches. She continued to work with Chabrol throughout the 1970s and 1980s, appearing in such films as Le Boucher, La Femme Infidele, and La Ceremonie. She also appeared in films by other directors, including Luis Buñuel’s The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie and Jean-Jacques Beineix’s Diva. She died in Paris in 2018 at the age of 85.
