    Well, let’s just say Spring Byington’s ROI is so low, it’s like trying to find a needle in a haystack…if the haystack was made up of 9,000 actors and she ranked in the bottom 1%. Sorry, Spring, looks like you’re firmly on the F-List.
     

    Bio:

    Spring Byington was an American actress of stage, film, and television. She was best known for her role as the matriarch, “Lily Ruskin”, in the CBS television sitcom December Bride (1954–1959). She was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the 1936 film, You Can’t Take It with You. She also appeared in films such as Little Women (1933), The Bride Wore Red (1937), and The Little Foxes (1941). Byington was also active in the theater, appearing in productions such as The Women (1936) and The Voice of the Turtle (1943). She died in 1971 at the age of 86.
