He is best known for his roles as Greg Serrano on the television series Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and as Prince Hans in the 2013 Disney animated film Frozen. He has also appeared on Broadway in musicals such as Cinderella, The Importance of Being Earnest, and Tootsie. Fontana has won a Tony Award, a Drama Desk Award, and an Outer Critics Circle Award for his performance in Tootsie.
