    Bio:

    Mary Steenburgen is an Academy Award-winning American actress and singer. She began her career in the 1970s, appearing in several television series before making her film debut in the 1980 film Melvin and Howard. She has since starred in a number of films, including Goin’ South (1978), Parenthood (1989), What’s Eating Gilbert Grape (1993), Step Brothers (2008), and Book Club (2018). She won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the 1980 film Melvin and Howard. She is also known for her roles in the television series Back to You (2007–2008) and Last Man Standing (2011–2017).
