Marty Feldman was an English comedy writer, comedian, and actor. He was known for his bulging eyes, which were the result of a thyroid condition. He was a regular on the BBC sketch show At Last the 1948 Show, and starred in the films Young Frankenstein and Silent Movie. He was nominated for an Academy Award for his screenplay for the 1971 film The Last Remake of Beau Geste. He died in 1982 at the age of 48.
