    Bio:

    Martin Balsam was an American actor who had a long and successful career in film, television, and theater. He won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in the film A Thousand Clowns (1965). He was also nominated for an Emmy Award for his role in the television series Archie Bunker’s Place (1979-1983). He appeared in many classic films, including Psycho (1960), 12 Angry Men (1957), and All the President’s Men (1976). He was known for his versatility and ability to play a wide range of characters. He passed away in 1996 at the age of 76.
