Ludmilla Tcherina (1924-2004) was a French ballerina, actress, and sculptor. She was born in Paris and trained at the Paris Opera Ballet School. She was a principal dancer with the Paris Opera Ballet from 1945 to 1955 and was the first French dancer to perform in the Soviet Union. She also appeared in several films, including The Red Shoes (1948) and The Tales of Hoffmann (1951). In addition to her dancing career, she was also a successful sculptor, creating works in bronze, marble, and terracotta.
