Kay Medford was an American actress and comedian best known for her roles in the films A Hole in the Head (1959), Bye Bye Birdie (1963), and The Out-of-Towners (1970). She was born in New York City in 1915 and began her career in vaudeville and burlesque. She made her Broadway debut in the musical comedy Small Wonder in 1945 and went on to appear in several other Broadway productions. Medford was nominated for a Tony Award for her performance in the musical comedy Do Re Mi in 1960. She died in 1980 at the age of 65.
