Jim Jordan is an American actor best known for his role as Fibber McGee in the 1940s radio show The Fibber McGee and Molly Show. He was born in Peoria, Illinois in 1896 and began his career in vaudeville. He later moved to radio, where he became a household name for his portrayal of Fibber McGee. He also appeared in several films, including The Miracle of Morgan’s Creek and The Great Gildersleeve. Jordan passed away in 1988 at the age of 92.
