    Well, Jack Oakie may not be at the top of the Fresh Kernels Database in terms of ROI, but at least he’s not a kernel that’s gone stale! And hey, being a B-List actor is still better than being a C-List or a D-List actor, right? Let’s give him a solid 65% for effort.
     

    Bio:

    Jack Oakie was an American actor and comedian who was active in the 1930s and 1940s. He was known for his comedic roles in films such as The Great Dictator, You Can’t Cheat an Honest Man, and College Swing. He was also a popular radio personality and was the host of the Jack Oakie’s College program. He was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Great Dictator. He died in 1978 at the age of 74.
