Irene Bedard is an American actress and producer best known for her roles in Disney’s Pocahontas and Smoke Signals. She has also appeared in films such as The New World, Into the West, and The Lone Ranger. She is an advocate for Native American rights and has been involved in numerous charitable organizations. Bedard is a member of the Athabascan tribe and is of Native American and French Canadian descent.
