Gordon Tootoosis (1941-2011) was a Canadian Cree actor, best known for his roles in Legends of the Fall, North of 60, and Dances with Wolves. He was a member of the Poundmaker Cree Nation and was a prominent advocate for Indigenous rights. He was a founding member of the Saskatchewan Native Theatre Company and was the first Indigenous actor to be inducted into the Saskatchewan Order of Merit. He was also a recipient of the Order of Canada.
