He is best known for his roles in films such as The Big Sleep (1946), The Lady from Shanghai (1948), and The Ten Commandments (1956). He also appeared in numerous television shows, including The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits, and The Alfred Hitchcock Hour. Anders was a versatile actor who could play both comedic and dramatic roles. He was known for his strong presence and distinctive voice. He passed away in 1966 at the age of 63.
