Well, Fritz Feld may not have made it onto the Fresh Kernels Database’s Top 10, or even Top 100, but hey, at least he’s not at the bottom! He’s somewhere in the middle, let’s say around the 50% mark. And with a Status of F-List, he’s probably just happy to be included at all.
Fritz Feld was a German-born American character actor who appeared in over 200 films and television shows between 1925 and 1975. He was known for his trademark phrase, “Guten Tag, everybody!”, which he often used in his roles. He was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in the 1945 film The Lost Weekend. He was also known for his roles in such films as The Great Dictator, The Lady Eve, and The Big Sleep. He died in 1993 at the age of 91.
