Dennis Hopper was an American actor, filmmaker, and artist. He was best known for his roles in Easy Rider, Blue Velvet, and Hoosiers. He was nominated for an Academy Award for his role in Hoosiers and won an Emmy Award for his role in the television series 24. He was also known for his work as a director, including the cult classic Easy Rider. Hopper died in 2010 at the age of 74.
