Bio:

Della Reese was an American singer, actress, and ordained minister. She began her career as a gospel and jazz singer, and later transitioned to acting. She is best known for her role as Tess on the CBS series Touched by an Angel. She was also the first African-American woman to host a talk show, Della, which ran from 1969 to 1970. Reese passed away in 2017 at the age of 86.
