Danny Elfman is an American composer, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He is best known for his work scoring films and television shows, particularly his frequent collaborations with director Tim Burton. Elfman has composed the scores for over 100 films, including Batman, Edward Scissorhands, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Men in Black. He has also written the theme songs for popular television shows such as The Simpsons and Desperate Housewives. Elfman is a four-time Grammy Award nominee and has won numerous awards for his work in film and television.
