Clive Toye is an English-born American soccer executive and former journalist. He is best known for his role in the founding of the North American Soccer League in 1968, and for his involvement in the signing of Pele to the New York Cosmos in 1975. Toye was also the general manager of the Cosmos from 1971 to 1977, and was the president of the Chicago Sting from 1979 to 1984. He has been inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame and the U.S. Soccer Hall of Fame.
