Benjamin Millepied is a French dancer, choreographer, and filmmaker. He is best known for his work as choreographer for the 2010 film Black Swan, for which he won a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score. He is also the founder and artistic director of the L.A. Dance Project, a contemporary dance company based in Los Angeles. Millepied has also choreographed for the Paris Opera Ballet, the New York City Ballet, and the Royal Ballet.
