    Anton Walbrook was a renowned Austrian-British actor who was active in the film industry from the 1930s to the 1960s. He was known for his roles in films such as The Red Shoes, The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp, and The Red Danube. He was also a stage actor, appearing in productions of plays by Shakespeare, Ibsen, and Chekhov. Walbrook was a versatile actor, able to play both comedic and dramatic roles. He was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor for his performance in The Red Shoes. Walbrook died in 1967 at the age of 68.
