Adolfo Celi (1922-1986) was an Italian actor, director, and screenwriter. He is best known for his roles in the James Bond film Thunderball (1965) and the spaghetti westerns A Fistful of Dollars (1964) and For a Few Dollars More (1965). He also directed the cult classic horror film The Beast in the Cellar (1970). Celi was a prolific actor, appearing in over 100 films and television series throughout his career. He was also a successful screenwriter, writing the screenplay for the film The Biggest Battle (1978).
