Lawrence D. Cohen is an American screenwriter and playwright. He is best known for his work on the horror film “Carrie” (1976), which was based on the novel by Stephen King. Cohen also wrote the screenplay for the film’s 1999 sequel, “The Rage: Carrie 2.” In addition to his work in film, Cohen has written several plays, including “The Basic Training of Pavlo Hummel” and “The Magician.” Unknown.
