Magic Mikes Last Dance (2023)
RT Audience Score: 74%
Awards & Nominations: NA
Magic Mike’s Last Dance is loose and limber enough to entertain, although it’s hard to escape the feeling that this franchise has lost a step or two along the way.
If it isn’t quite as much fun as the first two movies, Magic Mike’s Last Dance is still worth a handful of sweaty, crumpled dollar bills.

Plot
“Magic” Mike Lane takes to the stage again after a lengthy hiatus, following a business deal that went bust, leaving him broke and taking bartender gigs in Florida. For what he hopes will be one last hurrah, Mike heads to London with a wealthy socialite who lures him with an offer he can’t refuse … and an agenda all her own. Once Mike discovers what she truly has in mind, will he —and the roster of hot new dancers he’ll have to whip into shape — be able to pull it off? Third installment in the Magic Mike franchise.

Has an interesting premise. Unfortunately, it’s just a recycling of old materials, and not all that thrilling
Fallen is a movie that’s been around for a while, and the reviews are all over the place. Some people think it’s a stylish thriller with great twists, while others think it’s boring and far-fetched. Personally, I think it’s a fun movie to watch if you’re in the mood for something a little weird. Denzel Washington is great, as always, and the supernatural elements add a cool twist to the usual cop drama. It’s not a masterpiece, but it’s definitely worth a watch if you’re looking for something different.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is like a rollercoaster ride that you don’t want to end. It’s got everything you could ask for in a Star Wars movie – epic battles, lightsabers, and a great story. Rian Johnson did an amazing job of taking the franchise in a new direction while still staying true to its roots. The characters are all fantastic, especially Luke Skywalker, who steals the show. It Comes at Night makes lethally effective use of its bare-bones trappings while proving once again that what’s left unseen can be just as horrifying as anything on the screen
It Comes at Night” is a horror movie that will make you want to lock your doors and never leave your house again. The tension is so strong that you’ll be on the edge of your seat the entire time. The characters are believable and the fear is contagious. Just make sure you’re ready for some unresolved moral dilemmas and a shocking denouement. Overall, it’s a slow-burning thriller that relies on shadow and sound to terrify, and it mostly succeeds. Just don’t expect a happy ending.

It can be didactic rather than truly suspenseful, but Master is an impressively well-crafted horror outing with a lot on its mind.
Master” is a horror movie that’s not just about jump scares and creepy ghosts, but also about the real-life horrors of racism and discrimination. It’s a film that will make you think and feel, and maybe even scare you a little bit. The plot twist at the end might not be for everyone, but overall it’s a well-made movie that’s worth watching. Plus, it’s got a little bit of Jordan Peele in it, so you know it’s gonna be good.

Baghead is a movie that’s hard to classify, but easy to enjoy. It’s like a romantic comedy, but with a hint of horror. Favreau gratifyingly prevents the film from becoming a mere maelstrom of CG effects by pushing the brothers’ amusing bickering to the fore…

Despite its peculiar name and the fact it bears a strong resemblance to Jumanji — another film inspired by a book by children’s author Van Allsburg — it’s hard not to like Zathura.

If you enjoyed Jumanji, the Robin Williams film about the board game with the wild animals that come to life, then … the rest of this sentence should read: “…you are a dullard who should be slapped repeatedly.”

A sci-fi spin on 1995’s Jumanji, Jon Favreau’s fast-paced fantasy is an enthralling, imaginative romp that does everything its predecessor did and more.

Thankfully, Zathura is generations beyond Jumanji. This low-rent continuation may not boast the star power of its predecessor, but it more than makes up for it in intelligence, subtlety and pure entertainment value.

Though many millennials may not have even heard of the film, Zathura is a classic family adventure film that deserves much better than the poor critical reception and box office receipts it received at the time.

Behind The Lens…
Plot
An old and forgotten game develops magical powers in this fantasy for the whole family. Twelve-year-old Walter Budwing (Josh Hutcherson) and his younger brother, Danny (Jonah Bobo), figure they’re going to be in for a boring time when their father (Tim Robbins), who was supposed to spend the day with them, is suddenly called away on business, and gives them strict orders not to leave the house. Walter, who doesn’t have much use for Danny, is motivated by boredom more than anything else when he agrees to play a board game Danny has found in the basement during a round of hide-and-seek. However, the boys quickly discover the space-themed game Zathura has some unusual qualities
