    Robert M. Young is an American film director, producer, and screenwriter. He is best known for his films The Ballad of Gregorio Cortez (1982), Dominick and Eugene (1988), and Crazy in Alabama (1999). He has also directed episodes of television series such as The Equalizer, Miami Vice, and Law & Order. Young has won numerous awards for his work, including the Humanitas Prize, the Christopher Award, and the National Board of Review Award.
