Midge Costin is an award-winning filmmaker and professor at the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts. She is best known for her documentary Making Waves: The Art of Cinematic Sound, which explores the history and impact of sound design in film. Costin has also produced and edited numerous feature films, documentaries, and television programs, including the Emmy-nominated documentary The Life and Times of Hank Greenberg. She is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
