James B. Harris is an American film producer, director, and screenwriter. He is best known for producing Stanley Kubrick’s films Paths of Glory (1957) and Lolita (1962). He also directed and wrote the film The Bedford Incident (1965). Harris has produced films such as The Last Tycoon (1976), The Black Marble (1980), and Cop (1988). He has been nominated for two Academy Awards and has won numerous awards, including the Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture for The Last Tycoon.
