Charles H. Schneer (1918-2009) was an American film producer best known for his work with special effects pioneer Ray Harryhausen. He produced over 50 films, including the classic fantasy films The 7th Voyage of Sinbad (1958), Jason and the Argonauts (1963), and Clash of the Titans (1981). He was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects for his work on The 7th Voyage of Sinbad. Schneer was also a pioneer in the use of stop-motion animation, which he used to create some of the most iconic scenes in film history.
