Albert S. Ruddy was an American film and television producer. He was best known for producing the 1972 film The Godfather, which won three Academy Awards and is widely regarded as one of the greatest films of all time. He also produced the 1975 sequel The Godfather Part II, which won six Academy Awards. He was the recipient of the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award in 1976. He also produced the television series Hogan’s Heroes and Walker, Texas Ranger. He died in 2012 at the age of 89.
