Furie began his career in the film industry in the 1950s and has directed over 50 films throughout his career. Some of his notable works include “The Ipcress File” (1965), “Lady Sings the Blues” (1972), and “Iron Eagle” (1986). Furie has won several awards for his work, including the Canadian Film Award for Best Direction in 1966 for “A Cool Sound from Hell.” He continues to work in the film industry today.
