Salvador Simó is a Spanish film director known for his work in animation. He was born in Valencia in 1975 and studied Fine Arts at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. Simó has directed several short films and documentaries, including “El Gran Zambini” and “Bla Bla Bla”. In 2019, he directed his first feature film, “Buñuel in the Labyrinth of the Turtles”, which tells the story of the making of Luis Buñuel’s documentary “Las Hurdes”. The film was well-received by critics and won several awards, including the Goya Award for Best Animated Film.
