He is best known for his work on the films “Gloomy Sunday” (1999), “Angels & Demons” (2000), and “Goethe!” (2010). Schübel began his career as a documentary filmmaker before transitioning to feature films. He has won several awards for his work, including the Bavarian Film Award and the German Film Award. Schübel continues to work in the film industry today.
