McLaglen directed over 100 films and television episodes throughout his career, including Westerns such as “Shenandoah” and “The Wild Geese.” He was also known for his work on the TV series “Gunsmoke” and “Have Gun – Will Travel.” McLaglen was the son of actor Victor McLaglen and followed in his father’s footsteps to become a successful director.
