Critics Consensus

Tim Allen spends Jungle 2 Jungle annoyed and put upon, mirroring audiences’ reaction as they struggle through this witless family comedy

Audience Consensus

Jungle2Jungle is a movie that’s perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon when you don’t want to think too much. It’s not going to win any awards, but it’s a fun and silly movie that will make you laugh. Tim Allen is his usual goofy self, and the jungle boy, Mimi-Siku, is adorable. The plot is predictable, but that’s part of the charm. It’s a movie that you can watch with your family and not worry about any inappropriate content. So grab some popcorn, sit back, and enjoy the silliness of Jungle2Jungle.

Roughly half of Tim Allen’s latest comedy is hilarious-stupid, and the rest is monotonous-stupid.

Typically for Disney, the villains aren’t made of very stern stuff, nor indeed is fey spear-carrying Mimi-Siku.
