Critics Consensus

Go Tigers! is an absorbing and evenhanded documentary that takes a perceptive look at the world of high school sports and its impact on a community

Audience Consensus

Go Tigers! is a documentary that will make you want to cheer for the underdogs and root for the home team. Critics have called it “energetic,” “absorbing,” and “enthralling,” but I call it a feel-good movie that will have you shouting “Go Tigers!” at the top of your lungs. It’s a story about how high school sports can bring a community together and how a small town can be held in the grip of a game. It’s a tale that’s both chilling and uplifting, and it’s a must-watch for anyone who loves sports, documentaries, or just a good story. So grab some popcorn, put on your favorite team’s jersey, and get ready to cheer on the Tigers!

It’s all true, even though the details are both as chilling as the premise of Invasion of the Body Snatchers and as uplifting as the plots of a half-dozen recent sports movies.
