Felicia’s Journey is a film that leaves you with a sense of appreciation, much like a fine wine that takes time to fully savor. Egoyan’s psychological thriller may not be as layered as some of his other works, but it still manages to captivate with its curious twists and turns. While some critics may dismiss it as lacking in humor and irony, the film’s ability to surprise and astound viewers is a testament to Egoyan’s skill as a director. It’s a journey worth taking, even if it takes a while to fully appreciate its nuances.
Felicia’s Journey is a psychological thriller that will leave you astounded, according to Stephen Holden from the New York Times. While some critics found it lacking in Egoyan’s characteristic humor and irony, others appreciated the film’s ability to spin off in curious new directions. Personally, I thought it was a great movie, but then again, I’m just a casual viewer who enjoys a good thriller. If you’re looking for a film that will keep you on the edge of your seat, Felicia’s Journey is definitely worth a watch.

Likeluy divide critics and viewers, this is a simpler and less layered film than other works from Egoyan, who seems unable to infuse the pyschological thriller with his characteristic humor and irony.
