Cyrus” is a movie that proves that sometimes, the most unremarkable things can be the most charming. With seasoned actors and a quirky execution, this film takes a potentially one-joke premise and turns it into something deep, dark, and surprisingly touching. Sure, it’s not the most exciting movie out there, but it’s funny, observant, and just the right amount of edgy. Plus, it’s always nice to see a movie that reminds us that even the most dysfunctional relationships can have their moments of beauty.
