    Bio:

    Walter Seltzer was an American film producer and studio executive. He was best known for producing the classic films The Godfather (1972) and The Godfather Part II (1974). He was also the executive producer of the Academy Award-winning film The Deer Hunter (1978). Seltzer was a long-time associate of director Francis Ford Coppola, having worked with him on several of his films. He was also a producer on Coppola’s Apocalypse Now (1979). Seltzer was a recipient of the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award in 1975. He died in 2004 at the age of 91.
