Rose Troche is an American film and television director, producer, and screenwriter. She is best known for her work on the groundbreaking 1994 film Go Fish, which she wrote, directed, and produced. She has since gone on to direct and produce a number of critically acclaimed films and television series, including The L Word, Six Feet Under, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Troche is also an outspoken advocate for LGBTQ rights and has been a vocal supporter of the transgender community.
